“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”
Elliott Erwitt

“Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.”
Dorothea Lange

“Seeing is not enough; you have to feel what you photograph” – Andre Kertesz

Rowan Fulton

Rowan Fulton

I have been working as a Photographer for over 10 years, since graduating with a Ba (hons) 2:1 degree in Photography from the University of Wales. I love people and portraiture forms a big part of my work. My personal work projects run with a ‘documentary’ style, focusing on people in everyday life and Artists. I also produce commercial portraits in my studio and on location.

I am a big nature adorer and produce landscapes that show land, sea and sky in glorious light and colour.

I am the official Dance Photographer for local Youth Dance Events and my love for the figure and movement comes out through my Dance Photography. I also produce stills for Dance videos and performances.

I produce Editorial Photography for publication in company websites and advertising material, books and magazines. The types of photographs created for this work are broad and can include anything from places, business premises, chairs, people, shop window displays and even bulldog clips and binding machines. This work can be quite random but I relish the challenge to create a visually stylish and striking image from any type of subject or scene.

Clients include: Sony, Shane Davey Director, Bobblehat, Hugh Davies, Debenhams, Harvey Nichols, Hype, Quarriers, Sparks, Red Magazine, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, The National Trust, Arts in Trust, The British Association of Science, Virtual Landscapes, Dance Fresh, British Golf Museum, London Zoo, Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre.
